Mingling Waters - Dog Policy

Dogs are welcome at Mingling Waters!

We ask that the following items are observed by all dog owners visiting the park to ensure the comfort, safety and wellbeing of all guests.

By paying site fees guests agree to abide by all policy items below relating to visiting with their dogs.

Guest Resposibility

Guests visiting with their dogs accept the following responsibilities:

• Dog/s must be always supervised and never left unattended.
• Dog/s must be on a leash (2m or less in length) at all times. We do not allow dog/s to be kept off leash in dog runs.
• Guests must not allow their dog/s to wander the park unleashed and/or unsupervised.
• Guests must immediately pick up their dog/s waste in a sealed bag and dispose of it in rubbish bins provided.
• Guests must prevent their dog/s from urinating/marking on park fixtures or other guests belongings/equipment.
• Guests must keep their dog/s away from all wildlife, at all times.
• Guests should be aware of the closet veterinarian.
• Guests must control and manage their dog/s' behaviour at all times. See below.

Dog Behaviour:

Dog/s must demonstrate good behaviour at all times whilst in the park. Behaviours that Mingling Waters considers to be poor dog behaviour include (but is not limited to):

• Being reactive to other dog/s, people or animals.
• Displaying aggression towards other dog/s, people or animals.
• Excessive, uncontrollable barking and/or noise.

Dog Health:

• Dog/s must be healthy, up to date with their annual vaccinations and free of fleas, worms, or other parasites.

Dog Free Areas

For health and safety reasons dog/s are not permitted to enter into or be tied unsupervised to the following areas of the park:

• Camp kitchen
• Amenities blocks
• The Mill House
• Accommodation Unless prior approval granted in written confirmation

Personal Damage or Injury:

• Guests are responsible, and will be held to be so, for any injuries and/or property damage or losses caused as a result of their dog/s.

Snake Warning:

• Mingling Waters is subject to snake presence year round, we accept no responsibility for costs relating to dog/s injury or death resulting from a snake bite.

Management Rights:

Mingling Waters reserves the right to evict any guest without refund or prior warning for failing to abide by this policy, or whose dog/s are deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive and/or is subject to complaints by other guests.Thank you for your attention to our guidelines, we look forward to welcoming you and your furry friend.
